OK, Boys N Girls... This idea has been floating around for a long time, but hasn't quite caught on yet. I've decided it's about time that this idea bacame a reality. Legally, the fans can't just cover the songs & release & distribute the audio for profit, so here's my proposal. Anyone who wants to be involved with this can do a Pig Cover or Remix (Covers prefered), inform me about it when completed & arrange to send me the track as an MP3 (don't just send it to my hotmail address cuz the inbox isn't big enough to handle an MP3 file). I will then find a location to host these MP3's where people can download them (for free, of course). Along with that, I'll cook up some Artwork so that people may download the images & create CD-R's of this music to add to their collection. As an initiative to get involved, i may try to acquire some rare Pig related Item to be awarded the person who submits the best track (the best track will be determined by a Poll that will appear on this site). It's cheesy, i know, but if it gets people involved it's worth it. Right now i'm thinking maybe a "2-Kut Vinyl" would be a good prize, or maybe the "2-Kut" video, or some other rarity. The "contest" part of this idea won't begin until A) I've accuired a rare piece of memorabillia or B) we get 12 MP3 submissions. Regrdless of contest bullshit or whatever, please get involved! It would really kick-ass to create a fan made Tribute! I'm not looking for musical Geniuses here, either. Play a Pig track on a Fisher Price Xylohpone for all i care, but be creative and show some homage to this EXTREMELY talented & EXTREMELY underrated artist!
